The Edmonton is a new and interesting addition to our grey doors collection, featuring a design unlike any other door we currently offer. This door features six panels of varying sizes, with three of the panels being square, and the other three being rectangular and each alternating between one another, creating a ladder effect. All the panels are broken up with v-cut grooves highlighting the details of this grey internal door even further. With an overall contemporary style, the Edmonton internal door will be best suited to a modern home, but could be adaptable to a wide range of different styles. The light grey finish of this door is slightly different to the other light grey doors we offer, as most of them are grey ash doors, and much brighter than this version, whereas the Edmonton is a warmer light grey in comparison. As these doors are prefinished, they will arrive ready to go, so you don’t need to worry about applying any final coats before you hang them.
Available in both glazed and fire rated variations, you will be able to mix and match throughout the home, depending on your requirements. A few points about this door remain consistent throughout the Edmonton collection, first of all being the range of sizes available. We’re confident that you can find the size you’re looking for as the solid comes in a range of different sizes, and the glazed and fire variations with just a few less. These modern internal doors also come with an FSC certification, to prove they have been sourced from sustainable forests, so you can be confident that you are making a responsible choice. Storage - Flat and Dry Only
As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc. For more detailed information on how to treat you newly delivered doors click here.
Installation
This engineered door must be fitted with a minimum of 3 hinges. This is due to the weight of the product, which can be attributed to the high grade materials used in the construction of the door. Choosing to ignore this requirement will void your warranty.
As it is a priority to ensure that our products are delivered to you in perfect condition, we only work with reliable delivery companies who have outstanding reputations. At the checkout stage, the most economical available delivery option will be automatically applied to your basket, allowing you to spend where it matters.
Standard Delivery Rates
Doors - £40.00*(this is per order, not per door)
*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for timber-only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery lead time.
Standard Deliveries - you will receive a notification from your designated courier prior to delivery. Please note, we cannot currently offer express delivery on orders of timber only.
If you have selected additional options for your items such as pre-finishing, please allow up to an additional 10-15 working days for delivery. This will be based on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time..
All delivery times are based on orders being placed before 9am and the lead times are from when your order has been dispatched, not placed.
Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.
We do not recommend booking any tradesmen until you have received your delivery, as a precaution that any delivery issues may arise.
In the unusual event that your package arrives showing signs of damage, we strongly suggest that you inspect your delivery while the driver is still present, if a fault is to be found request that the driver reports this and sign for the parcel as damaged. It is also recommended that you take photographs of the damaged area along with a detailed description.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any damages and report them to us within a 24-hour period.
