The Solid Pine 3 Ledge Un-Glazed V-Groove Internal Door is the solution if you’re after a traditional barn style door but want to let light flow between rooms. Perfect for barns or cottages, this door is purposely delivered without any glass to give you the freedom of choosing glass of your choice, whether that be clear, frosted or patterned. The beading is supplied loose to give you the flexibility to install it yourself - just make sure it’s toughened for safety purposes.
In our experienced opinion, these doors are superior in quality to others in the market, due to them being handcrafted with 5” raw material meaning that they are stronger looking and simply better in quality. Stability is enforced even more with finger jointed ledges made from the Scandinavian Pine and we consider this to make them the most durable pine ledged doors on the market due to the fact they are not just stapled like most alternatives; they are glued, pinned and then hydraulically pressed on, giving you peace of mind they have been built to last.
Available in four sizes as standard, these are designed to be suitable for the majority of door openings. However, if you are looking for adjustments then the construction of this door is really versatile for trimming due to there being no hidden fixings, what you see is what you get.
The number of planks and the width of planks may vary from door to door depending on measurements.
Storage - Flat and Dry Only
As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Installation
This engineered door must be fitted with a minimum of 3 hinges. This is due to the weight of the product, which can be attributed to the high grade materials used in the construction of the door. Choosing to ignore this requirement will void your warranty.
As it is a priority to ensure that our products are delivered to you in perfect condition, we only work with reliable delivery companies who have outstanding reputations. At the checkout stage, the most economical available delivery option will be automatically applied to your basket, allowing you to spend where it matters.
Standard Delivery Rates
Doors - £40.00*(this is per order, not per door)
*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for timber-only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery lead time.
Standard Deliveries - you will receive a notification from your designated courier prior to delivery. Please note, we cannot currently offer express delivery on orders of timber only.
If you have selected additional options for your items such as pre-finishing, please allow up to an additional 10-15 working days for delivery. This will be based on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time..
All delivery times are based on orders being placed before 9am and the lead times are from when your order has been dispatched, not placed.
Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.
We do not recommend booking any tradesmen until you have received your delivery, as a precaution that any delivery issues may arise.
In the unusual event that your package arrives showing signs of damage, we strongly suggest that you inspect your delivery while the driver is still present, if a fault is to be found request that the driver reports this and sign for the parcel as damaged. It is also recommended that you take photographs of the damaged area along with a detailed description.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any damages and report them to us within a 24-hour period.
