Product Information
This variation of solid pine doors is a proven crowd pleaser, with the alternative profile, v-groove, being a very popular choice. This space-saving door is a great option for those with traditional style homes such as a cottage, but are a little tight on space. Ever-popular in the UK, cottages are beautiful homes, but often lack space and this is where a pine bi-fold door could be the perfect solution. This bi fold internal door is affordable, durable and incredibly practical in a home look to gain space wherever possible. The door can behave like a concertina and fold into itself, rather than opening all the way out like a traditional door. The profile on this solid pine internal door is bead & butt, adding a little extra detail to both sides of the door. This interior bi-fold door is constructed from the highest quality Scandinavian redwood timber, boasting a wealth of natural pine features such as knots and light grain pattern, so you know you’re getting an authentic product. These doors are perfect for painting, so if you have a colour in mind, these doors will take incredibly well to paint.
Consisting of two leafs of door, each side matches up perfectly, with the 3 ledges being fixed using the most advanced methods, rather than the traditional method of stapling. The ledges on these door leafs are fixed in place with finger joints, then glued, pinned and finally a hydraulic press is used to secure them to the door. This product does not include the fixings necessary to join the two leafs together or to fix the door to your opening, although all the required parts can be found in our door hardware category. The pine used in the construction of our internal bi-fold door is all sustainable and taken from responsible sources, ensuring that you have selected an environmentally conscious manufacturer. Although oak leads the market, pine is a great alternative, without the hefty price tag!

Maintenance
Storage - Flat and Dry Only
As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc. For more detailed information on how to treat you newly delivered doors click here.
Installation
This engineered door must be fitted with a minimum of 3 hinges. This is due to the weight of the product, which can be attributed to the high grade materials used in the construction of the door. Choosing to ignore this requirement will void your warranty.
Delivery Information
As it is a priority to ensure that our products are delivered to you in perfect condition, we only work with reliable delivery companies who have outstanding reputations. At the checkout stage, the most economical available delivery option will be automatically applied to your basket, allowing you to spend where it matters.
Standard Delivery Rates
Doors - £40.00*(this is per order, not per door)
*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for timber-only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery lead time.
Standard Deliveries - you will receive a notification from your designated courier prior to delivery. Please note, we cannot currently offer express delivery on orders of timber only.
If you have selected additional options for your items such as pre-finishing, please allow up to an additional 10-15 working days for delivery. This will be based on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time..
All delivery times are based on orders being placed before 9am and the lead times are from when your order has been dispatched, not placed.
Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.
We do not recommend booking any tradesmen until you have received your delivery, as a precaution that any delivery issues may arise.
In the unusual event that your package arrives showing signs of damage, we strongly suggest that you inspect your delivery while the driver is still present, if a fault is to be found request that the driver reports this and sign for the parcel as damaged. It is also recommended that you take photographs of the damaged area along with a detailed description.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any damages and report them to us within a 24-hour period.
