Choosing the correct external door for your home can be difficult as it is a decision which can make or break the overall look of your property. Our Oak Norfolk external door has been created to suit both traditional and more contemporary alike.
The door has a simple style with vertical panels which contrast against horizontal upper and lower edges. The contrast breaks up the flow of wood grain perfectly to give it some fantastic character.
The Norfolk has a high quality solid core and is supplied unfinished and ready to be treated before fitting. This provides you with the chance to finish the door in keeping with your existing exterior detailing and maintain a consisting overall appearance.

External Wooden Product Finishing
When protecting external products, we highly recommend using a high quality treatment such as Impranol Oils. These fast drying oils offer an enhanced wood finish which is both quick and easy to achieve. Impranol Hardwax Oils are also extremely hardwearing and durable, they ensure that your doors can withstand external weather. What's more, Impranol oils can also be reapplied to scratches by treating the area using a cloth.
All of our doors must be treated before they are hung, not afterwards. It is vitally important not to miss areas where the door has been cut for hinges or any other door furniture as this would allow for moisture to get into the door and spread throughout it.
Modern oil finishes are extremely durable and hardwearing, they are very simple to apply and fast drying. Once your appropriate finish has been applied, generally very little maintenance is required. It is always advisable to cover any scratches that may occur over time. The benefit of using hardwax oil is that this is a very simple process of re-applying the finish to the affected area with a cloth.
