Product Information
The extremely popular Ely Door has a new contemporary design that has two-panels with North American white crown cut oak veneer, giving this internal door the natural grain pattern that lends to a rustic style for this modern door. This internal door has a stylish finish that would suit any modern or contemporary home. The rustic style to this oak veneer door would also not look out of place in a traditional home.
The two-panel oak door is available in 13 sizes as standard, made up of 7 imperial sizes and 6 metric sizes, giving you a great choice of doors to suit your needs. The generous trimming allowance allows 16mm to be trimmed on all edges of the door giving you even more options for your perfect fitting doors.
The wood for this oak veneer door is FSC accredited giving you the peace of mind that it has come from a sustainable forest. With a 10 year manufacturer's warranty this oak veneer door is sure to look amazing in your home for many years to come. The solid core of this oak veneer door gives you the look and feel of a solid oak door.
The door is delivered prefinished so that the door has been made to the highest factory standard and there is no need to worry about further treatments unless the trimming allowance is taken advantage of. We recommend that you use a manufacturer approved oil to treat the edges of the door after trimming and before hanging the door.
Maintenance
Storage - Flat and Dry Only
As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc. For more detailed information on how to treat you newly delivered doors click here.
Installation
This engineered door must be fitted with a minimum of 3 hinges. This is due to the weight of the product, which can be attributed to the high grade materials used in the construction of the door. Choosing to ignore this requirement will void your warranty.
Delivery Information
As it is a priority to ensure that our products are delivered to you in perfect condition, we only work with reliable delivery companies who have outstanding reputations. At the checkout stage, the most economical available delivery option will be automatically applied to your basket, allowing you to spend where it matters.
Standard Delivery Rates
Doors - £40.00*(this is per order, not per door)
*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for timber-only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery lead time.
Standard Deliveries - you will receive a notification from your designated courier prior to delivery. Please note, we cannot currently offer express delivery on orders of timber only.
If you have selected additional options for your items such as pre-finishing, please allow up to an additional 10-15 working days for delivery. This will be based on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time..
All delivery times are based on orders being placed before 9am and the lead times are from when your order has been dispatched, not placed.
Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.
We do not recommend booking any tradesmen until you have received your delivery, as a precaution that any delivery issues may arise.
In the unusual event that your package arrives showing signs of damage, we strongly suggest that you inspect your delivery while the driver is still present, if a fault is to be found request that the driver reports this and sign for the parcel as damaged. It is also recommended that you take photographs of the damaged area along with a detailed description.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any damages and report them to us within a 24-hour period.
