Deanta Madison White Primed Clear Bevelled Glazed Door

A simple 2 panel glazed internal door with a raised panel design perfect for either a modern or traditional style home. This 2 panel door comes pre primed, ready for a final coat; giving you the option of finishing the door in a colour tone to match your home’s individual style. The Madison door is certainly the door of choice for a home looking for a two panel, simple design that lets light flood between rooms with the large glazing feature.

Manufactured by Deanta Doors, this solid core door is available in 3 standard sizes, all with a 35mm thickness. One of the many features of this raised panel door is that it has solid core construction, which makes it more heavy and robust than similar door styles on the market and it boasts toughened, clear safety glass with a beautiful bevelled edge.

With an above standard 16mm trimming allowance on all sides, this will allow you to reduce the height and width easily should you need to adjust the doors dimensions to get that perfect fit. Because this is a Deanta Internal Door it is manufactured to the highest standards and comes with a 10 year manufacturing defect guarantee so this Madison interior white primed glazed door will last a very long time.

Maintenance
Storage - Flat and Dry Only

As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc. For more detailed information on how to treat you newly delivered doors click here.

Wooden Product Finishing

Our products are supplied fit for purpose and unfinished (unless a pre-finished door has been ordered). As oak is a natural product, sanding and treating maybe required to achieve the perfect finish. If you have not ordered a pre-finished/treated door then we recommend that quality hardwax oils such as TreatexOsmo, or Sikkens Polyurethane Varnish are used to seal and protect the goods and to validate your warranty.

All of our doors must be treated before they are hung, not afterwards. It is vitally important not to miss areas where the door has been cut for hinges or any other door furniture as this would allow for moisture to get into the door and spread throughout it.

Applying a stain prior to treating is known to highlight the areas where glue may have spread to the face of the door during manufacturing, particulary where veneers meet. This cannot be claimed for under warranty. A clear, hardwax oil is what should be used.

Modern oil finishes are extremely durable and hardwearing, they are very simple to apply and fast drying. Once your appropriate finish has been applied, generally very little maintenance is required. It is always advisable to cover any scratches that may occur over time. The benefit of using hardwax oil is that this is a very simple process of re-applying the finish to the affected area with a cloth.

If you're wanting to paint an unfinished oak veneer door, ideally a White Primed Door should be purchased instead. However, if you do decide to paint an unfinished oak veneer door then to comply with the door's warranty it must have an undercoat/primer and top coat which is solvent based, not water based.
