Specially designed, tested and certified this engineered hardwood FD30 rated door lining is the perfect companion to any oak fire door. The frame is made to accept fire doors of up to 44mm thickness and contains a pre-cut grooves to install a intumescent strip depending on the requirements your fire door needs to meet. The door jambs are loose and measure 62mm on the 108mm lining set and 87mm on the 133mm lining set.
Available in two widths 108mm and 133mm with a total thickness of 32mm with an adjustable top bar to accommodate doors from 27 inches (686 mm) to 33 inches (838mm). The maximum door height this frame can accommodate is 2010mm, just trim the frame to the required height.
This lining set does not include the intumescent strips, these can be found here and you will require 5 metres per door lining. The pre-cut groves measure 20mm wide by 4mm deep so please check the measurements of the intumescent your using to ensure a good fit.
The lining set is supplied unfinished and pre-sanded ready for finishing and installation.
Storage - Flat and Dry Only
As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc. For more detailed information on how to treat you newly delivered doors click here.
As it is a priority to ensure that our products are delivered to you in perfect condition, we only work with reliable delivery companies who have outstanding reputations. At the checkout stage, the most economical available delivery option will be automatically applied to your basket, allowing you to spend where it matters.
Standard Delivery Rates
Skirting, Architraves, Linings and Window boards - £25.00
*We apply a shipping surcharge of £25.00 to certain postcodes for timber-only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery lead time.
Standard Deliveries - you will receive a notification from your designated courier prior to delivery. Please note, we cannot currently offer express delivery on orders of timber only.
If you have selected additional options for your items such as pre-finishing, please allow up to an additional 10-15 working days for delivery. This will be based on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.
All delivery times are based on orders being placed before 9am and the lead times are from when your order has been dispatched, not placed.
Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.
We do not recommend booking any tradesmen until you have received your delivery, as a precaution that any delivery issues may arise.
In the unusual event that your package arrives showing signs of damage, we strongly suggest that you inspect your delivery while the driver is still present, if a fault is to be found request that the driver reports this and sign for the parcel as damaged. It is also recommended that you take photographs of the damaged area along with a detailed description.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any damages and report them to us within a 24-hour period.
