Our Cambridge veneered oak internal door has a simple layout and clean lines which allow it to complement a wide range of home interiors. The simplicity of the cambridge is perfectly suited to a more contemporary, minimalist home but it can quickly and easily be transformed and given a more traditional appearance with the addition of a period door knob or lever and matching hinges.

Three vertical panels make up the bottom section of the door whilst the top half is a single square panel. The reserved styling of the Cambridge provides you with the opportunity to personalise it however you desire. It is supplied unfinished and can be treated to either match your interior colour scheme or alternatively to create a contrast.

The Cambridge internal door has a style which offers a middle ground between contemporary and more traditionally styled doors. Like all of our internal doors, the Cambridge has outstanding strength and durability ensuring it will last and maintain its appearance for many years.

Maintenance
Storage - Flat and Dry Only

As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc. For more detailed information on how to treat you newly delivered doors click here.

Wooden Product Finishing

Engineered products (doors and selected skirting and architrave) are simple to finish, as they are machine finished it is unlikely that any further finishing will be required prior to applying your choice of oil or lacquer. As much as modern glues are very strong and resilient we do recommend that you always try a test patch first to ensure you have the right colour. Once your chosen finish has been applied generally very little maintenance is required, it is always advisable to cover any scratches that may be picked up over the years, luckily if you have used a hardwax oil this is a very simple process of re applying the finish with a cloth to the affected area, it is very simple. Our chosen treatments are Treatex and Osmo, both of which provide a beautiful finish and excellent protection.

Quality Items
Bought and fitted 5 of these in my 1933 bungalow and they are the first thing people comment on when visiting. Real chunky doors that close with a clunk, finished with Liberon Hard Wax oil. You'll need to keep your chisels and plane irons sharp as this is quality oak with a healthy trim veneer for adjusting.

Great doors
We bought 8 doors inc a fire doors. The quality was excellent, very well made, with good cut allowances, they look absolutely fantastic. They arrived within a few days. No complaints.
